Scleddau and Trecwn Community Day

The Scleddau and Trecwn Community Day went really well…thank you to everyone!

60 residents from Scleddau, Trecwn and Pantegg came along to chat to us, to tell us their community ideas and to vote on their favourite park equipment!

110 people completed the community survey so we have lots of findings and suggestions for the final report.

Lots of people told us they’d like to see an annual event like the community day…

The Community Well-being and Resilience Project has had a busy first year…..

  • We worked with Hook, St. Davids, Clarbeston Road and Wiston. We are currently working with Haverfordwest, Scleddau and Trecwn. We are about to work with St Dogmaels, Llanrhian, Mathry and Narberth.
  • We developed and successfully facilitated visioning toolkits with Pembrokeshire College, primary and secondary schools.
  • We created and delivered engagement training for town and community councillors.
  • We produced and continue to produce well-being and community action plans for all CWBR areas, these reports can be used by the local councils for community consultation evidence.
  • We created a community survey for Scleddau and Trecwn that residents are starting to complete this week. We are also working with the community council to host a community fun day in August.
  • We continue to engage with more communities across Pembrokeshire in new and creative ways….
